Graduates of the Visual Communication Design program, upon completion, will be able to:
- Apply processes of identifying visual communication problems and generating solutions by drawing on knowledge of the communication field, interdisciplinary approaches, and related arts, utilizing theories of visual communication design.
- Acquire and professionally apply knowledge of materials and production methods within the scope of the design field, in order to attain competence in designing products, environments, or processes within the discipline of visual communication design.
- Use current information and communication technologies in thinking, production, and presentation processes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in expressing ideas both in Turkish and in English, in written and oral forms.
- Translate theoretical and experiential knowledge into practice.
- Develop habits of lifelong learning, time management, methodological work, and research throughout their education.
- Employ abstract, analytical, and relational thinking skills in internalizing visual communication design processes.
- Generate design proposals by applying the fundamental and universal principles of design.
- Continuously develop personal creativity and skills in order to communicate creative thinking, perspectives, and solutions.
- Advance existing knowledge and practice through appropriate research methods, rigorous inquiry, critical thinking, and ethical perspectives.
- Execute a visual communication design project—individually or as a team member—by integrating all stages within a professional and participatory context.
- Define the relationship between humans and media with an awareness of social responsibility and ethics in the field of visual communication design, relating it to social factors, human behavior, and cultural diversity.
